Comment by sarah jane casciato on April 11, 2011 at 12:10pm Hey WAH MOMS!
I work at home in weaverville and fill my hours searching for great families to be volunteer host families for exchange students. I work for a non-profit called Youth For Understanding and I am currently developing WNC to be an international student mecca! Won't that be great! It is so beautiful and interesting here, it's a great little slice of America for students all over the world to get to know. Let me know if any of you are interested in hosting this year. The students are high school aged and come from over 60 countries with their own spending money and health insurance. If you wanted to volunteer your family would provide a place to live, three meals a day, and lots of love and encouragement. You can find out more at YFU-USA.org, or by calling or emailing me! 828 216 6152 or sdelcambre@yfu.org.
Glad to be a new WAH member!
Sarah Jane
