Hey Mommies!
Have any of you thought about inviting an exchange student into your home for the year! This is a great way for your kids to learn about the world, try new things, and make friends with all types of people. Youth for Understanding, a non-profit that I volunteer with, is currently recruiting volunteer host families and I know WNC mommies are great families who want interesting and enriching experiences for their children. These students come to do a year of high school and would be considered a member of the family with duties just like your other kids (maybe watching your son or daughter from time to time, and helping with homework or language acquisition!).
